ZipIt works just like a regular Macintosh program. To create a new zip archive, simply choose âNewâ from the File menu. You can also add files to an existing zip archive by choosing âOpenâ¦â from the File menu and then adding files. To add files, simply choose âAddâ¦â from the Zip menu. Double-click on a file you want to add, or select the file and click âAdd.â You may add as many files as you like. When you are finished, click âDone.â Next, choose âSaveâ from the File menu, and the files youâve added will be compressed and saved into the zip archive. Note that files are not compressed until you actually save the archive.
